# Name und Beschreibung des Batchtyps

> Legen Sie beim Erstellen oder Bearbeiten eines Batchtyps einen Namen und optional eine Beschreibung fest.

Jeder Batchtyp hat einen **Namen** (erforderlich) und eine **Beschreibung** (optional).

Sie können beides festlegen oder bearbeiten:

* Wenn Sie einen Batchtyp mit dem [Batch Type Wizard](/de/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/batch-type-wizard) erstellen.
* Später auf der Registerkarte **General** des Dialogfelds [Batch Type Properties](/de/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/batch-type-properties-dbox).
