Die **Input**-Aktivität importiert Dokumente aus E-Mail-Diensten, freigegebenen Ordnern oder beliebigen Drittanbieteranwendungen über die Vantage-API in Vantage. Jeder Process-Skill muss eine **Input**-Aktivität enthalten. Vantage erstellt Vorgänge für Dateien beliebiger Formate. Ein Vorgang, der nicht unterstützte Dateien enthält, wird jedoch mit Fehlern abgeschlossen. Damit ein Vorgang erfolgreich abgeschlossen wird, muss jede darin enthaltene Datei in einem unterstützten Format vorliegen. Standardmäßig importiert die **Input**-Aktivität Dokumente nur über die Vantage-API.
