# Uninstalling in manual mode

> Uninstall ABBYY FineReader Engine on Linux in manual mode by deleting the library folder and Standalone Licensing Service configuration file.

To deinstall FineReader Engine library in manual mode:

1. Delete the folder with FineReader Engine files from your workstation.
2. If you have been using the Standalone license, delete the configuration service file you created for the functioning of the Licensing Service. If you have been using the Network license, you do not need to delete anything.
