# EnableCommand Method of the Commands Object

> EnableCommand method of the Commands Object in ABBYY FineReader Engine Visual Components on Windows — This method enables (excludes from the list of forbidden) the specified command.

This method enables (excludes from the list of forbidden) the specified command.

## Syntax

### C++

HRESULT EnableCommand( MenuItemEnum Value );
```

```csharp theme={null}
void EnableCommand( MenuItemEnum Value );
```

### Visual Basic .NET

Sub EnableCommand(Value As MenuItemEnum)
