# System requirements for an evaluation installation

> Hardware and software prerequisites for an evaluation install of ABBYY FlexiCapture: supported Windows versions, IIS, .NET, SQL Server, and database options.

An evaluation installation of ABBYY FlexiCapture requires the following on a single computer.

## CPU

2.4 GHz or faster 4-core CPU

## Operating system

* Windows 10
* Windows 11
* Windows Server 2012 + Desktop Experience
* Windows Server 2012 R2 + Desktop Experience
* Windows Server 2016 + Desktop Experience
* Windows Server 2019 + Desktop Experience
* Windows Server 2022 + Desktop Experience
* Windows Server 2025 + Desktop Experience

<Note>To use a localized version of ABBYY FlexiCapture, make sure your operating system supports the corresponding GUI language.</Note>

## RAM

8 GB

## Disk space

20 GB for installation and temporary files, plus 10 GB for the Database and File Storage

## System and software components

* Internet Information Services (IIS) 7 or later
* Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later
* Microsoft .NET Runtime 8.0 or later
* One of the following databases: Microsoft SQL Server 2016 SP2, 2017, or 2019; Microsoft Azure; Oracle Database 12c, 18c, or 19c; or PostgreSQL 11 or later
* Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable

A scanner with TWAIN, WIA, or ISIS support
