# Using Web API to download logs

> Download ABBYY FlexiCapture event logs and security event logs from System Monitor and Processing Monitor as CSV files through the Web API.

You can use the Web API to download event logs and security logs. The parameters of the API methods are identical to those used for creating logs via the Administration and Monitoring Console GUI. For detailed information about various events recorded in logs, please see the [Event log](/flexi-capture/web-stations/monitoring-console/mmc-event-log) and [Security event log](/flexi-capture/web-stations/monitoring-console/mmc-security-event-log) articles in the Administration and Monitoring Console help.
