# Export

> Export recognized data, images, and documents from ABBYY FlexiCapture to files or a database, automatically or manually from the export menu.

    Data are exported automatically. If required, a separate export confirmation queue may be created by the Verification Operator. In this case, export is done after confirmation is obtained. Data are exported based on the settings provided in the Document Definition.

    <Accordion title="Manual export of documents">
      To export documents manually, select one of the items in the **File → Export To** menu:

      * Data to Files... to export the data to a file
      * Images to Files... to export the images to a file
      * Database... to export the document to a database

      Change the default export settings if required and export the data.

    To export recognized and verified documents, click Export. The export will be performed according to the settings configured in the Document Definition.

    * If you need to export the data to a file, click the arrow to the right of the button and select Export Data to File.
    * If you need to export the images to a file, select Export Images to Files.
    * If you need to export the document to a database, select Export to Database....

    If necessary, change the default export settings and perform the export.
