# Configuring the project in ABBYY FlexiCapture

> Prepare a FlexiCapture project for the Laserfiche workflow: set per-image-file document separation and configure export to map results to the original file.

The FlexiCapture project must be uploaded to the FlexiCapture server and the server must be running.

Make sure that the **For each image file** option is selected under **Document separation** on the **Image Preprocessing** tab of the FlexiCapture project or batch type properties dialog box (any of the parameters available for this option can be chosen).

In the Document Definition, configure data export to Laserfiche (see [Configuring the export of data from ABBYY FlexiCapture to Laserfiche](/flexi-capture/connectors/laserfiche/lf-export-config)), To do this, in the XML configuration file, set FolderPath to "\<FolderPath>" and set FileName to "\<FileName>". Now the processing result (i.e. the template and data) will be associated with the Laserfiche file that was originally sent to FlexiCapture.
