# FlexiCapture server setup

> Prepare the ABBYY FlexiCapture Application Server for Mobile Client use: project access, Scanning Operator permissions, tenant names, and connection details.

ABBYY FlexiCapture Mobile Client is compatible with ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Distributed. To deploy ABBYY FlexiCapture, see [About ABBYY FlexiCapture](/flexi-capture/admin-guide/introduction-ag) in the Administrator's Guide.

<Info>
  The Application Server must be running and available online.
</Info>

To send document images to FlexiCapture from the Mobile Client, the Application Server must have at least one project, and Mobile Client users must have Scanning Operator permissions for the project and batch type they send images to. Users also specify the URL of the Application Server, the name of the project, and the batch type.

When sending documents, users can select the document type. The list of document types contains all Document Definitions available on the Application Server for the selected project and batch type.

If several tenants use your FlexiCapture installation, users also specify a tenant name in the **Company** field. If you do not have multiple tenants, or you want users to send documents to the **Default Tenant**, leave the **Company** field blank.

Make sure users have the server URL and any other information they need to send documents to FlexiCapture.

<Tip>
  To make the Mobile Client easier to use, avoid long names for projects, tenants, batch types, and Document Definitions.
</Tip>
