# Supported input formats

> List of input file formats FlexiLayout Studio accepts, including text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and image files like TIFF, PDF, and JPEG.

## Supported document formats

| Document type      | Supported file extensions                             |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| **Text documents** | \*.doc, \*.docx, \*.rtf, *.htm/*.html, \*.txt, \*.odt |
| **Spreadsheets**   | \*.xls, \*.xlsx, \*.ods                               |
| **Presentations**  | \*.ppt, \*.pptx, \*.odp                               |

  Microsoft Office 2010 and earlier versions cannot convert \*.odt, \*.ods, and \*.odp files.

| **PDF**            | Regardless of type, PDF files open as images only (a separate license is required)                                                                |
