# Save images

> Export selected batch pages to image files in FlexiLayout Studio and set saving options such as name prefix, suffix, format, and color type.

## Save images of the selected pages

<Steps>
  <Step title="Select the pages">
    In the **Batch** window, select the pages you want to save.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the export dialog box">
    From the page shortcut menu, select **Export Pages to Files...**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Specify the destination folder">
    In the dialog box that opens, specify the path to the folder.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the saving options">
    Click **Export options...**.

## Export options for image files

Set the following options for the exported image files:

| Option                     | Description                                                                                                                                      |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Name prefix**            | The prefix added to each file name.                                                                                                              |
| **Name suffix**            | Select how the name suffix is composed: **as page number** or **continuously**. If the suffix changes continuously, specify the starting number. |
| **Format**                 | The following saving formats are available: `*.bmp`, `*.dcx`, `*.pcx`, `*.png`, `*.tif`.                                                         |
| **Color type**             | Select a color type: **Black and white**, **Color**, or **Grey**.                                                                                |
| **Rewrite existing files** | Select this option to overwrite existing files that have the same names.                                                                         |
