# FlexiLayout projects

> FlexiLayout projects store layout alternatives, blocks, elements, and image batches, letting you build, debug, and test FlexiLayouts in FlexiLayout Studio.

A **FlexiLayout project** contains information about the FlexiLayout, including its [blocks](/flexi-capture/fls/template/blocks) and [elements](/flexi-capture/fls/template/elements), their properties, [test images](/flexi-capture/fls/batch/general-batch), and so on.

In a FlexiLayout project, you create layout alternatives, add elements and blocks, and specify their properties. The project also lets you debug, build, and test the FlexiLayout.

## What a FlexiLayout project contains

A FlexiLayout project includes:

* Layout alternatives that consist of blocks and elements
* The batch of images used to create and debug the FlexiLayout
