# Changing the installation mode, repairing and removing ABBYY FlexiCapture

> Change the installation mode, repair corrupted files, or remove ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 through the Add or Remove Programs list in the Windows Control Panel.

*(Standalone)* To change the installation mode (select either complete installation or the Operator Station):

1. *(Standalone)* Click **Start → Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs**, and then select ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 from the list of installed programs, and click **Change**.
2. *(Standalone)* Select the **Modify** item and click **Next**.
3. *(Standalone)* In the dialog box that opens, select the required installation mode.

To repair corrupted or deleted files:

1. Click **Start → Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs**, and then select ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 *(Distributed)*  Servers or ABBYY FlexiCapture Stations from the list of installed programs, and click **Change**.
2. Select the **Repair** item and click **Next**.

To remove ABBYY FlexiCapture from your computer:

1. Click **Start → Control Panel → Add or Remove Programs**, and then select ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 *(Distributed)*  Servers or ABBYY FlexiCapture Stations from the list of installed programs, and click **Remove**.
2. Confirm that you wish to remove the program.
