# Double verification

> Enable double verification in ABBYY FlexiCapture so two operators independently verify the same fields, with results merged on the Processing Server.

**Double verification** is a data verification mode where fields are verified by two different Operators.

To enable double verification:

1. Select the Requires double verification option in the field properties.
2. Select the Double verification option on the Field Set tab of the [stage settings](/flexi-capture/project-settings/stage-settings) dialog box.

Merging results of double verification is performed in the Processing Server. If verification results match, the document is sent to the next stage. Otherwise the check is carried out by the resultant hand.
