# ABBYY FlexiCapture setup

> Set up ABBYY FlexiCapture for distributed processing: configure the Application Server, upload a project, grant permissions, and start Processing Stations.

To set up ABBYY FlexiCapture for distributed document processing:

1. [Set up the Application Server](/flexi-capture/project-settings/d-band-fs) in the Administration and Monitoring Console.
2. [Upload the project](/flexi-capture/project-settings/publish) to the Application server.
3. [Grant access permissions](/flexi-capture/project-settings/roles) to the Operators in the Administration and Monitoring Console.
4. [Set up the Processing Server and Processing Stations](/flexi-capture/project-settings/network-setup) in the Processing Server Monitor.
5. [Set up the workflow](/flexi-capture/project-settings/workflow-project-settings) on the Project Setup Station.
