# Registration parameters

> Registration parameters let FlexiCapture mobile client users attach extra information to a document or batch, entered manually or filled in automatically.

In the main FlexiCapture Mobile Client scenario, a user photographs a document and adds extra information to the image.

Registration parameters let you attach extra information to a single document or to the entire batch.

An Administrator configures the list of registration parameters in advance and saves it on the FlexiCapture server with the project. An Operator can then fill in the values on a mobile device, manually or automatically. Values can be:

* Entered from the keyboard
* Entered by voice input
* Selected from a drop-down menu
* Filled in automatically with GPS coordinates, the device ID, the date, or the Operator's login
