# Centralized distribution of scanning settings

> Distribute scanning settings centrally in ABBYY FlexiCapture: Administrators define batch type settings and share them with Scanning Operators.

In centralized settings mode, Operators work according to a processing scenario defined by the Administrator. The Administrator configures the batch type settings and distributes them between stations, so Operators don't create or configure batch types themselves. This helps avoid errors.
