# Supported input formats

> Input formats the Scanning Station accepts: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files plus image formats such as TIFF, PDF, JPEG, PNG, and BMP with color modes.

## Office files

Microsoft Office 2010 and earlier cannot convert `*.odt`, `*.ods`, and `*.odp` files. Web Scanning Station does not support common office files.

For the JPEG2000 format, lossless compression is used when **Quality** is set to **Best**.

When you process PDF files that contain vector graphics, visual quality may deteriorate because the PDF is rasterized and the output file contains a bitmap image. PDF files with XFA forms cannot be imported.
