# Hardware and Software Requirements

> Hardware and software requirements for ABBYY Scanning Station and ClickOnce deployment: CPU, Windows versions, RAM, disk space, and scanner support.

## Scanning Station

| Requirement      | Details                                                                                                           |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| CPU              | 2 GHz or faster                                                                                                   |
| RAM              | 1 GB                                                                                                              |
| Disk space       | 1 GB, including 200 MB for installation plus space for scanned images                                             |
| Operating system | Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, or 2025 (each with Desktop Experience) |

Additional requirements:

* A scanner with TWAIN, WIA, or ISIS support
* A video card and display with 1024×768 resolution
* A computer connected to your domain
* Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable

  To use a localized version of ABBYY FlexiCapture, make sure your operating system supports the corresponding GUI language.

## ClickOnce Scanning Station

| RAM              | 1 GB                                                                                                              |
| Disk space       | 1 GB, including 90 MB for installation plus space for scanned images (download size 70 MB)                        |
| Operating system | Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, or 2025 (each with Desktop Experience) |
| Browser          | Internet Explorer 11 (for ClickOnce deployment)                                                                   |

Additional requirements:

* A scanner with TWAIN, WIA, or ISIS support
* A video card and display with 1024×768 resolution
* Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later

  For Internet Explorer 11 to work correctly, install .NET Framework 4.5 on the computer with the Application Server, or add the application server address to the list of websites opened in compatibility mode.
