# Copying, moving, deleting fields

> Copy, move, or delete fields in an ABBYY FlexiCapture Document Definition, select several at once with Ctrl-Click, or delete a region but keep the field.

Fields can be copied, deleted, moved, and modified. Names of copied fields have different numbers. To highlight several fields, use **Ctrl-Click**. The action selected will then be applied to all highlighted fields.

To delete a field, highlight it and press the Delete key or select Delete on the shortcut menu. To delete only the region and keep the field in the document structure, press Shift+Delete or select Delete Region from the shortcut menu for the field.
