# Pictures

> Picture fields in a FlexiCapture Document Definition store image regions; adjust their default properties across general, export, and rule validation tabs.

On creation, a picture is assigned default properties. You can change properties by selecting Properties... from the shortcut menu. The properties modification dialog box comprises four tabs for different groups of properties:
