# Processing Station problems

> Resolve ABBYY FlexiCapture Processing Station issues by verifying the station service and system logs and enabling logging when a station cannot launch.

Processing Stations handle jobs at automatic stages. They also delete batches that have already been processed, when automatic deletion is enabled.

A station runs as the Windows service `ABBYY.ProcStation.FlexiCapture.12.0`, whose process is `FlexiBrSvc.exe` launched with the `-stationType:proc` key. Each individual job runs in a separate `FlexiEx.exe` process.

Before collecting diagnostic information, make sure the Processing Station machine has enough CPU power, RAM, and free disk space.

## A Processing Station cannot be added

If the Processing Server Monitor will not add the station, confirm two things about the Processing Station machine. It must be reachable, and it must be running the `ABBYY.ProcStation.FlexiCapture.12.0` service.

## A Processing Station cannot be launched

If the Processing Server Monitor will not launch the station:

* Check the system log on both the Processing Server machine and the Processing Station machine.
* Enable processing logging for the Processing Server and the Processing Station, then try launching the station again. For more information, see [Processing logging](/flexi-capture/troubleshooting-guide/tg-logs-processing).

Contact ABBYY technical support with the system log files and the processing logs for both the Processing Server and the Processing Station.
