## Select a project

Select a project from the list of available projects, and then select your role within the project. If a list of batch types is available, select your batch type; you can then get only batches of that type from the data verification queue. Your Administrator determines which projects and roles are available to you.

The following roles may be available:

* Data Verification Operator
* Verification Operator
* Senior Verification Operator
* Custom verification roles

The name of the selected project appears in the top-right corner. To go back to project and role selection, click the **Select project** link next to the project name.

<Note>
  If only one role in one project is available to you, the project and role selection page does not appear, and you go straight to the job queue after you log on. All verification roles are available to users with the Administrator role.
</Note>

## Get a task

After you select a project, the total number of tasks appears. Click **Start Verification** or press **Enter** to get a task. If no tasks are available, the button name changes to **Update**.
