# ABBYY FlexiCapture Data Verification Station

> Check and correct unreliably recognized characters with the ABBYY FlexiCapture Data Verification Station, including required browser and ActiveX settings.

During automatic recognition, some characters might be recognized incorrectly or with low confidence. The ABBYY FlexiCapture Data Verification Station lets you check and correct unreliably recognized characters.

Working with the ABBYY FlexiCapture Data Verification Station includes the following actions:

## Browser requirements

JScript, ActiveX plugins, and scripting must be enabled. For the station to work correctly, enable the following ActiveX controls and plugins in the [Internet Explorer security settings](/flexi-capture/admin-guide/ds-requirements):

* **Run ActiveX controls and plugins** – **Enable** or **Prompt**
* **Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting** – **Enable** or **Prompt**

If these settings are disabled, you see this message when you work with the station: `An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet Options for potential conflicts.`
