## Web Capture Station

The ABBYY FlexiCapture Web Capture Station lets users scan and add documents from files, process uploaded document images, send document batches for recognition, verify extracted data and correct errors, and export processed batches to an external system.

The Web Capture Station is accessible to an Administrator and a Web Capture Operator. Only the Web Capture Operator can perform the document processing scenario. For more information, see [User roles](/flexi-capture/web-stations/roles-web-stations).

The Web Capture Station works over the Internet. You can connect using Basic authentication or the FlexiCapture Authentication Module. To log in to the station, use the link `https://<ApplicationServer>/FlexiCapture12/Capture`, where `<ApplicationServer>` is the name of the computer on which the Application Server is installed. For more information, see [Connecting to the station](/flexi-capture/web-stations/login-page).

## Web Scanning Station

<Note>
  This section describes HTML5 Web Scanning Stations.

The ABBYY FlexiCapture Web Scanning Station is used to scan paper documents remotely and send them to the server for further processing. You can also use it to rescan documents and send them again.

Web Scanning Station users can have the **Scanning Operator** and **Administrator** roles. For more information, see [User roles](/flexi-capture/web-stations/roles-web-stations).

## Web Verification Station

The Web Verification Station is used to verify recognized data remotely, process problem batches and documents, check document assembly errors, check rules, and ensure batch integrity.

Web Verification Station Operators can have the **Verification Operator** and **Senior Verification Operator** roles. Depending on the role the Operator selects when logging in, they see and can process tasks from different queues. For more information, see [User roles](/flexi-capture/web-stations/roles-web-stations).
