# Event log

> Review the ABBYY FlexiCapture event log in the Administration and Monitoring Console, including processing errors, server events, and CorrelationIDs.

<Info>
  This section is only available to users with System Administrator, Tenant Administrator, and Monitoring Operator permissions.
</Info>

The event log contains records of all events and errors that occurred in ABBYY FlexiCapture.

## View the system event log

To view system-level events, open the Administration and Monitoring Console and click **System Monitor → Event log**. Users with System Administrator permissions can view records of events, including:

* Log in and log out events for System Administrators
* Event log delete events
* The starting and stopping of the Application Server and processing stations
* Errors, warnings, and other processing events

<Note>
  This event log does not contain records of events that occurred in tenants.
</Note>

## View the processing event log

Tenant Administrators (or the System Administrator, in the case of the default tenant) and Monitoring Operators can click **Processing Monitor → Event log** to view document processing events and errors. To see events from a specific project, select the project in the pane on the left.

## Sort, filter, and export events

To sort the records, click the name of the column to sort by, such as date, event type, user, or station. You can also [filter the events](/flexi-capture/web-stations/monitoring-console/mmc-filter).

Use the icons in the upper-right corner of the Administration and Monitoring Console to print the table or export it to a CSV file.

## Web Station event logging

Some Web Station events have unique CorrelationIDs, which link events logged on Web Stations with events in the ABBYY FlexiCapture event log and the IIS log.

A CorrelationID is also written to the Windows Application Log if an exception occurs on the Application Server while it processes a Web Station call.

<Note>
  For CorrelationIDs to be written to the IIS log, the **X-Request-ID** header must be enabled in the IIS settings.
</Note>

For more information, see [Event logging modes](/flexi-capture/web-stations/monitoring-console/mmc-log).
