# Filtering data

> Filter data in the monitoring tables of the Administration and Monitoring Console: create, rename, edit, and combine filters with AND and OR operators.

You can filter the data in the monitoring tables of the Administration and Monitoring Console. For example, you can display only the documents in the verification stage, or only the error messages from the event log.

The filter pane is located above the monitoring tables.

## Create a filter

To add more criteria, click the **+** button.

  You can combine filtering criteria only with the AND and OR operators.

  If you close the filter creation dialog box without saving, the filter is named "New Filter" and remains available until you close the Administration and Monitoring Console.

## Rename a filter

The default filter name is the word "Filter" followed by the date and time it was created. To rename a filter, click its name and type a new one.

## Edit or remove a filter

Point to the ellipsis to the right of the filter button, and select an option from the drop-down menu.
