# Share the main license with tenants

> Let tenants use the ABBYY FlexiCapture main license: enable the Share main license option in tenant settings and review limitations of shared licensing.

By default, tenants use the main license to access ABBYY FlexiCapture. System Administrators can activate the main license in the ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 License Manager.

  The main license can be used by multiple tenants, but this leads to certain limitations, such as limits on the number of stations and pages that can be processed.

## Switch a tenant to the main license

If a tenant is currently using a tenant license, you can switch it to the main license.

  <Step title="Open the tenant list">
    Open the Administration and Monitoring Console and click **Settings → Tenants**.

  <Step title="Open the tenant settings">
    Click a tenant's name to open its settings.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enable the shared license">
    Enable the **Share main license** option.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save the changes">
    Click **Save**.
