# Create a new tenant

> Create a new tenant in the ABBYY FlexiCapture Administration and Monitoring Console: set the name, administrator email, license number, and station group.

  <Step title="Open the Tenants page">
    Open the Administration and Monitoring Console and click **Settings → Tenants**.

  <Step title="Add a tenant">
    Click the **New tenant** button.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Specify the tenant details">
    * The name of the tenant (required). Tenant names can contain only Latin characters, numbers, and underscores. Do not use spaces.
    * A description of the tenant.
    * The email address of the Tenant Administrator (required).
    * The number of the tenant's license. For more information, see [Manage licenses](/flexi-capture/web-stations/monitoring-console/mmc-licensing).
    * A station group (optional), if you want this tenant's tasks to be processed on specific Processing Stations that belong to a station group. Select the **Allow common station group usage** checkbox to also process this tenant's tasks on stations that do not belong to any group. Group selection is available only if at least one station group has been created in Processing Server Monitor. For more information about station groups, see [Processing Server](/flexi-capture/architecture/proc-server).

    Click **Save**.

FlexiCapture generates a message containing a link to the login page, a user name, and a temporary password, and sends it to the Tenant Administrator. The new tenant appears in the list of tenants.

  If an SMTP server has not been set up, FlexiCapture cannot send the message to the Tenant Administrator. To set up an SMTP server, click **Settings → SMTP settings**.
