# テキストの種類

> ABBYY FineReader Engine 12 が認識するテキストの種類 — 一般的な活字、タイプライター、MICR、OCR-A、OCR-B、Index、Receipt、Gothic、手書きテキスト。

ABBYY FineReader Engine 12 は、次の種類のテキストを認識できます。

* 一般的な活字のテキスト
* タイプライターで打たれたテキスト。次のようなものです。

* ドットマトリクスプリンターで印字されたテキスト。次のようなものです。

* ZIPコード形式で書かれた、数字のみから成る特殊な文字セット。次のようなものです。

* Optical Character Recognition (OCR) 用に特別に設計された等幅フォントのテキスト。銀行、クレジットカード会社、その他これに類する業種で広く使用されています。次のようなものです。

* Optical Character Recognition (OCR) 用に特別に設計されたフォントで印字されたテキスト。次のようなものです。

* 磁気インクで印字された、数字と A、B、C、D の文字のみから成る特殊な文字セット。MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) 文字は、個人小切手などさまざまな場所で使われています。ただし、認識できるのはラテン文字言語のみです。次のようなものです。

* 数字と A、B、C、D、E の文字のみから成る、MICR バーコードフォント (CMC-7) で記された特殊な文字セット。MICR 文字を認識できるのはラテン文字言語のみです。次のようなものです。

* ゴシック体で印字されたテキスト。次のようなものです。

* レシートのテキスト。この種類のテキストは、売上レシートや請求書などを認識するために設計されています。他の種類とは異なり、実際のフォントは重視されません。代わりに、主に等幅フォントまたは通常のフォントで印字された低品質なテキストが含まれている可能性があることを認識エンジンに伝えます。一般的なレシートのテキストは、次のようなものです。
