# ABBYY Vantage Connector for Alteryx

> Use ABBYY Vantage skills natively inside Alteryx Designer workflows to submit documents for processing, retrieve results, and extract field data.

The ABBYY Vantage Connector for Alteryx offers custom tools for Alteryx Designer that let you incorporate ABBYY Vantage skills into your workflow. ABBYY Vantage skills interpret business documents and extract actionable information, and they can process specific document types such as invoices, orders, and W-2 forms.

## Tools

The ABBYY Vantage Connector for Alteryx provides the following tools for working with ABBYY Vantage:

The **Use Skill**, **Get Status**, and **Get Result** tools interact with the Vantage Public API to run a transaction and get its status and processing results. The **Parse Fields** tool converts JSON files containing the processing results to Alteryx data tables.

Implement these tools in your workflow sequentially. Each tool receives the output of the previous tool in its **Input** anchor.
