The ABBYY Vantage Connector for Blue Prism lets you incorporate ABBYY Vantage skills into your Blue Prism processes. ABBYY Vantage turns unstructured content into structured, actionable information through classification and extraction, and it processes document types such as invoices, orders, and W-2 forms. The connector ships as a Blue Prism visual business object (VBO) named ABBYY Vantage Skills. The VBO provides a set of actions that send documents to ABBYY Vantage, process them with an available skill, and return the results.

Add an action to a Blue Prism process

Use the ABBYY Vantage Skills VBO to build a new Blue Prism process or to add ABBYY Vantage steps to an existing one.

Create or open a process

On the Studio tab, right-click Processes and select Create Process, or open an existing process.

Add an Action element

Drag the Action element from the left-hand panel onto the canvas, and then double-click it to open its properties.

Select the business object and action

In the Action Properties window, enter a Name, set Business Object to ABBYY Vantage Skills, and set Action to one of the available actions.

Set the parameters

Specify the input and output parameters on the Inputs and Outputs tabs.
The Configure action passes the connection settings to the other actions of the VBO, so call it before any other action.
