# Export options for a batch type

> Configure the server and skill that batches of a given type export to.

You can set export options when creating a batch type with the [Batch Type Wizard](/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/batch-type-wizard), or later on the **Send To** tab of the [Batch Type Properties](/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/batch-type-properties-dbox) dialog box.

| Option                        | Description                                                                                                                                                                                 |
| :---------------------------- | :------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Use these sending options** | When selected, every batch of this type exports to the destination below.                                                                                                                   |
| **Sending options**           | In the **Server** field, enter the Vantage server address or pick one from the drop-down. You need an account on that server. If you haven't authenticated yet, click **Authentication...** |
| **Skill**                     | Select a skill that should process the exported documents.                                                                                                                                  |

  Only **Process** skills can be used to process images exported from Scanning Station.
