# Page Size Control

> Set resolution and size ranges for pages in a batch. Pages outside the range are flagged.

Use **Page Size Control** to set acceptable ranges for the resolution and dimensions of pages in a batch. If a page's parameters fall outside the configured range, the page is marked with a yellow warning triangle in the [Batches](/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/batches-window) window. To see the details, open the [Page Properties](/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/page-properties-dialog-box) dialog box.

Configure page size control in two places:

* **For a batch type** — when creating the batch type with the [Batch Type Wizard](/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/batch-type-wizard), or later on the **Page Size Control** tab of the [Batch Type Properties](/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/batch-type-properties-dbox) dialog box.
* **For individual batches** — on the **Page Size Control** tab of the [Options](/vantage/documentation/scanning-station/interface/options-dialog-box) dialog box.

Select the parameters you want to control and set their allowed ranges.

| Option              | Description                               |
| :------------------ | :---------------------------------------- |
| **Resolution**      | Resolution range, in dots per inch (dpi). |
| **Vertical size**   | Vertical size range, in pixels.           |
| **Horizontal size** | Horizontal size range, in pixels.         |
