# Sending Tasks tab of Options dialog box

> Configure how Scanning Station handles export tasks — completion cleanup, balloons, schedule, and retries.

Use the **Sending Tasks** tab to control how export tasks are processed.

## How to open

Choose **Tools > Options...** and click the **Sending Tasks** tab.

## Options

### Remove completed tasks from list

Deletes completed tasks from the export-tasks dialog box. The export-tasks dialog shows each batch's task status, start time, and progress — open it during or after export by clicking the shortcut in the Windows notification area.

### Show balloon when the task...

Enables notification balloons for task events:

* **starts** — when task processing begins.
* **is stopped with error** — when an error occurs during task processing.
* **is completed** — when task processing finishes successfully.

### Specify sending time range

Defines a daily window during which batches are sent to their destination. Select a batch and click **Send to** on the toolbar (or use the corresponding menu item) — batches waiting to be sent are marked until the window opens.

### Attempt to send failed task every...

Retries failed sending tasks over the network:

* **n min** — retry interval, in minutes.
* **Number of attempts** — how many times to retry.
