Fields can be marked on your documents using the Editor tab in the Skill Designer. The Editor tab also displays a list of all documents, the image for your selected document, and the data form. The data form contains the fields that will be extracted and their properties, as well as any validation rules. You can modify the placement of separators between the field regions. Types of fields

The method for adding a field and its settings depend on its type. The following types of fields may be extracted using ABBYY Vantage: Each field type has its own type of settings. It is important to specify the appropriate properties for each field. Field properties affect both the recognition accuracy and whether or not the field values will be able to be reviewed manually. They also affect the value normalization settings. To modify the properties for a field, click the field settings button next to the relevant field in the data form. In the dialog box that will open, the general field properties will be displayed. A list of all field properties can be displayed by clicking the Advanced button in the Field options dialog.
