# Managing IP Restrictions

> Restrict access to your ABBYY Vantage tenant to a safelist of IP addresses using CIDR notation. Enable, edit, and remove IP-based controls in Configuration.

In high-security situations, restrict tenant access to connections from a safelist of IP addresses.

Users with IP addresses not in the safelist cannot access the tenant. They can still use parts of Vantage that do not require a login, such as shared folders for export or links generated for mobile upload.

Addresses and address blocks use [CIDR notation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classless_Inter-Domain_Routing#CIDR_notation) (IPv4) — for example, `198.51.100.0/22`.

To manage IP restrictions, click **Configuration** in the left pane and open the **IP Restrictions** tab. From there you can enable IP safelisting, edit the list of allowed addresses, and remove all IP restrictions.

<Warning>
  You will lose access to the tenant if you do not include your own IP address in the safelist. To see your current IP address, click **Show IP address**.
