# Subscriptions

> How subscriptions work in ABBYY Vantage: what they cover (duration, page allowance, available skills), how pages are counted, and what happens at the limit.

Every ABBYY Vantage tenant requires a subscription that determines which features, skills, and processing capacity are available.

Your subscription determines:

* The period during which features are available
* The number of pages that can be processed during the subscription period
* The available skills
* The available feature set — depending on the subscription type, Advanced Designer may be available

The number of pages processed by various skills is tracked by counters tied to your subscription.
