# Vantage 3.4.1 release notes

> ABBYY Vantage 3.4.1: security and storage stability improvements, plus fixes across Advanced Designer (Else Condition in IF activities, background labeling saves, Deep Learning training, French OCR), document processing, Document Skills, Online learning, the Reporting API transaction steps export, skill deletion and export, and search-driven selection on the Users and Tenants pages.

### Security

* Critical security updates have been applied to address identified vulnerabilities.

### Storage

* Storage system stability has been strengthened for special cases.

## Fixes

### Advanced Designer

* Fixed an issue where the **Else Condition** setting could not be reached in an **IF** activity with a large number of case conditions. All case conditions and **Else Condition** are now accessible. (609083, 659400)

* Fixed an issue where labeling changes still being saved in the background could be lost if a skill was published or closed before the save finished. Advanced Designer now completes pending saves before publishing a skill or closing a project.

* Fixed an issue where a background save of labeling data could fail without reporting an error, so a labeling change could be lost with no indication that anything had gone wrong. These failures are now reported.

* Fixed an issue where testing or training a skill could fail when French was selected as an OCR language. These skills now test and train as expected. (674759)

* Fixed an issue where training a **Deep Learning** activity could stop partway through and report `Testing of epoch failed`, ending a training that was otherwise running normally. Training now recovers from these intermittent interruptions and runs to completion.

* Fixed an issue where an internal program error could appear when moving quickly between views in Advanced Designer while a skill was still loading. Rapid navigation no longer triggers the error. (664158, 675652, 675769, 676491, 676814, 677211, 677439, 678561)

### Document processing

* Fixed an issue where a transaction could intermittently fail with an internal error during processing, most often under sustained load. Transactions now complete as expected. (673270, 677589)

### Document Skills

* Fixed an issue where clearing the search in the **Add document skills** dialog selected every skill. Only the skills you selected stay selected when the search is cleared.

### Online learning

* Fixed an issue where documents completed in **Manual Review** were not collected into the classification skill for learning when **Collect and learn** was enabled. Reviewed documents are now collected as classification learning data. (671100, 674783)

### Reporting API

* Fixed an issue where the transaction steps export (`POST /api/reporting/v2/exports/transaction-steps`) could return steps outside the requested date range. The results could include steps that were still in progress and steps completed before the `startDate`. The export now returns only steps whose `CompletedUtc` falls within the requested `startDate` and `endDate` range. (676509, 678583)

### Skills

* Fixed an issue where exporting a Process skill or a Splitter skill could fail. These skills now export successfully. (665225, 665863, 670361, 671723, 673316)

* Fixed an issue where deleting a skill that had been copied, derived, or cloned could remove resources belonging to another skill, so that skill then failed with a storage error. Deleting a skill now removes only its own resources.

### Users and Tenants

* Fixed an issue where searching in the **Users** or **Tenants** list could change which rows were selected.
