# Vantage 3.6.0 release notes

> ABBYY Vantage 3.6.0: Custom (OpenAI-Compatible) LLM connections to any endpoint that implements the OpenAI chat completions API, including a model you host yourself, and Microsoft Graph email ingestion for Microsoft 365 mailboxes, plus accessibility, Quality Analytics reporting data, and Reporting API export improvements and fixes across PDF document processing, printed and handwritten field extraction, the Output activity, the Reporting API transaction steps exports, and document list scrolling.

## Features

### Custom (OpenAI-Compatible) LLM connection

ABBYY Vantage can now connect to any endpoint that implements the OpenAI chat completions API, including a model you host yourself. **Custom (OpenAI-Compatible)** appears as a sixth option in the provider list under **ADMIN → Configuration → Connections**. Enter the model name exactly as your endpoint exposes it, give the endpoint's base URL as **API Base**, and supply the key your endpoint accepts.

### Microsoft Graph email ingestion

ABBYY Vantage can now import email attachments through the Microsoft Graph API instead of IMAP. In a Process skill, the **Input** activity's email source offers **Sign in with Microsoft Graph** as a new account type, recommended for Microsoft 365 mailboxes. The connection is serverless, so there is no mail server address or port to enter.

## Improvements

### Accessibility

* Improved support for screen readers, keyboard navigation, and browser autofill in the Vantage interface. You can now skip straight to the main content of a page, and pages have descriptive browser tab titles. Screen readers pronounce the language names in the language selector correctly, and the sign-in screens support browser autofill.

### Monitor and reporting

* Reporting data processing is more reliable during periods of high processing volume, so Quality Analytics reports include every transaction.

### Reporting API

* Improved the reliability of transaction steps exports (`POST /api/reporting/v2/exports/transaction-steps`) when many export requests run at the same time. Vantage now queues export requests to avoid overloading the reporting database, so a request can stay in the `New` status longer before it moves to `Processing`. (678583)

## Fixes

### Document processing

* Fixed an issue where certain PDF documents caused a skill to stop with an access violation and return no results. These documents now process and export successfully. (652128, 657132)

* Fixed an issue where certain PDF documents that already contain a text layer could cause a transaction to fail with an internal error. These documents now process successfully. (655915, 667243, 671636, 675575, 676382, 677210, 677379)

* Fixed an issue where a field set to recognize both printed and handwritten text could be located on a document but not extracted. These fields are now extracted as expected. (668653, 678893)

### Process Skill

* Fixed an issue where opening the settings of an **Output** activity that exports to an external system could leave the page blank. The settings now open as expected.

### Reporting API

* Fixed an issue where a long-running transaction steps report (`GET /api/reporting/v1/transaction-steps`) could fail with a 500 error. The report now completes as expected.

* Fixed an issue where the transaction steps export (`POST /api/reporting/v2/exports/transaction-steps`) could leave out steps that completed within the requested date range when their transaction started in an earlier month. The export now returns every step whose completion time falls within the range. To retrieve steps missing from earlier exports, run the export again for the same date range. (676509, 678583)

### User Interface

* Fixed an issue where two scrollbars could appear at the same time while scrolling through a document list. Document lists now show a single scrollbar.
