Quickstart

FineParser Enterprise is in limited testing with select customers and is not publicly available yet. This documentation is published for participating customers. Features and availability may change before general release.

Install FineParser Enterprise on a prepared EKS cluster and parse a document through a port-forward.

Prepare the cluster

Meet the AWS requirements: an EFS file system, an S3 bucket, a billing service account, and an AWS Marketplace subscription.

Install the chart

  --set storage.inProcess.efs.fileSystemId=fs-0123456789abcdef0 \
  --set storage.output.s3.bucket=my-fineparser-output \
  --set serviceAccount.create=false \
  --set serviceAccount.name=fineparser

Wait for the orchestrator and ingest:

kubectl -n fineparser rollout status statefulset/fineparser-orchestrator
kubectl -n fineparser rollout status deployment/fineparser-ingest

The worker pool starts at zero and grows when the first job arrives.

Submit a document

kubectl -n fineparser port-forward svc/fineparser-ingest 8080:8080

In a second terminal:

curl -s -F files=@invoice.pdf -F outputTypes=doclang http://localhost:8080/parse
# {"jobs":[{"file":"invoice.pdf","jobId":"e08f769f-..."}]}

Wait for it to finish

curl -s http://localhost:8080/jobs/e08f769f-...
# {"status":"successful","files":["e08f769f-.../invoice.doclang"],...}

The first job waits for a worker to start, which can take a few minutes on a new node.

Download the result
