This release is a work-in-progress — it will evolve rapidly based on your feedback!

Here’s what is currently supported:

  • OCR Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese (traditional & simplified)

  • ICR (Handwriting Recognition): English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese

  • Pre-trained models: Models are fixed — no custom training or fine-tuning available at this stage.

  • Stability: APIs may change based on feedback and iteration.

  • Processing volume: You may process up to 1000 pages initially.

The Document AI API is free during the technical preview. No credit card is required — test, build, and explore with no usage charges during this phase.
