This release is built from Vantage Cloud 3.6.0. For the product features, improvements, and fixes in that version, see the Vantage 3.6.0 release notes.

Breaking changes

Production sizing by default

Vantage now deploys with production replica counts and resource requests by default, which need significantly more cluster capacity. Before you upgrade, make sure your node pools meet the production requirements. For test or proof-of-concept environments, set vantage.minimalInstall: true instead. A minimal installation also installs only the newest version of each skill. For more information, see Sizing.

Security

  • Updated Go to version 1.27. Go 1.25 has reached end of life, so we recommend that you upgrade to this release.

Features

Additional workloads metadata

You can now apply per-chart Helm overrides, such as a fixed replica count for one service, with workloadsConfigMap.additionalMetadata. For more information, see Additional workloads metadata.

Improvements

  • Installation is more reliable: some workers now start after the services they depend on.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Vantage resource could report Ready before all components were synced and healthy, and where degradation reasons were not updated or cleared.
  • Fixed an issue where some ArgoCD Applications stayed OutOfSync after installation.
  • Fixed an issue where OCI migration failed when the destination registry throttled requests. The migration job now waits and retries.
