Use the -mode parameter to choose between higher-fidelity output and faster results.

Setting the mode

Pass the -mode parameter when you start the container. The mode determines how much of the document FineParser extracts, and how long each page takes.

docker run -p 8080:8080 fineparser -mode fast

Mode	Flag	Results
High fidelity (default)	`accurate`	Reads the text and reconstructs the document’s structure: layout, tables, checkboxes, and reading order. Takes longer per page.
Fast	`fast`	Reads the text only. Skips structure analysis, so pages finish much faster.

Fixed per container

The mode is loaded at startup and cannot be changed at runtime. To serve both modes, run two containers. See Configuration.
