Workflow modes

You can process documents with either pre-configured or custom schemes. A pre-configured scheme is either unattended (Unattended mode) or involves human Operators (Simple mode). You configure a custom scheme in Advanced mode. There is also a special Web Capture station mode.

Mode	Description
Simple mode	Human Operators are involved. Separate stages can be used for rescanning, data verification, document assembly check, verification, batch integrity check, and export confirmation. Of these, all except rescanning can also run on Web stations. Documents (or entire batches) pass through the stages automatically if there are no processing errors, or after an Operator checks and corrects them. If an error occurs, the document is sent to the Exceptions stage; an Operator can also send a document there manually.
Advanced mode	Complex workflow schemes can be configured. You can modify the settings of base stages, create custom stages and add them to the scheme, enable double verification (so documents are verified by two different Operators in the Data Verification Station), and use scripts to process documents or entire batches.
Unattended mode	No Operator involvement is required to process and export documents. If an error occurs, the unrecognized image can be saved to a dedicated folder (selected on the Export tab), while successfully processed documents are exported automatically. Batches are processed in their entirety.
Web Capture station mode	You can specify the condition under which documents are sent to verification. This mode applies to documents processed in the Web Capture Station.

Processing order

The order of processing is specified for each batch type. When a new batch is created, it is assigned a type, which predetermines the order of processing. If no batch types are created, all batches are processed with the <default> settings specified for the entire project.
