Resets a user’s password.

Definition

bool ChangePassword( string userName, string oldPassword, string newPassword );

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
`userName`	`string`	The user name.
`oldPassword`	`string`	The old password value, unencrypted.
`newPassword`	`string`	The new password value.

Returned value

Type	Description
`bool`	Indicates whether the password was reset. Possible values: `true` (the password was reset successfully), `false` (the password was not reset, for example because the old password did not match).

Calculate the password hash

The following C# code hashes the password with a salt derived from the login.
