Create and open projects - ABBYY Documentation

Installing the program starts the License Manager utility, which prompts you to activate your serial number. You can also start it by hand from Start → All Programs → ABBYY FlexiCapture 12. For more information, see Manage your licenses.

Start ABBYY FlexiCapture

Choose the mode you need:

Administrator mode – Click Start → All Programs → ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 → Administrator Station.
Operator mode – Click Start → All Programs → ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 → Operator Station.

Create or open a project

On the Administrator Station, do one of the following three things:

Create a new project with File → New Project…, and then create or import at least one Document Definition with Project → Document Definitions.
Open a sample project from %Public%\ABBYY\FlexiCapture\12.0\Samples.
Open a project created in an earlier version of ABBYY FlexiCapture.

Your project needs at least one correct Document Definition with export settings specified.
