An ABBYY FlexiCapture distribution kit includes one of two types of protection key:- A hardware protection key (USB dongle)
- A software protection key (serial number)
Activate a software protection key
A software protection key needs activating in the Activation Wizard before you can use it. Click Activate License… in the License Manager to open the wizard. The activation technology limits how many copies of ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 can be used, and prevents multiple installations of the same licensed copy.A license can only be activated a limited number of times. Each activation lowers the remaining count, and each deactivation raises it again.
