Classification is the process of putting document images or text documents into certain predefined document classes. Documents can be classified manually or automatically. Manual classification of large numbers of documents is:
  • Labor-intensive
  • Costly
  • Slow
  • Error-prone when working against tight deadlines
ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 includes classification technologies that can be easily trained to classify documents by type and variant without creating FlexiLayouts in FlexiLayout Studio.
Whenever a page is classified (this includes the classifier training mode), it is also recognized, thus decrementing the page counter. Any further operations on the page will not affect the page counter.
