These tests compared the performance and scalability of FlexiCapture 12 and FlexiCapture 11 when processing grayscale images. FlexiCapture 12 delivered 20% better performance than FlexiCapture 11.

Results

Chart plotting thousands of gray pages processed in 24 hours against the number of processing CPU cores for FlexiCapture 11 and FlexiCapture 12, where both scale linearly but the FlexiCapture 12 line stays consistently above FlexiCapture 11, reaching about 275 versus 225 thousand pages at 16 cores.
